The Shiplap T&G Heavy Duty Workshop Shed from our Shedstore Standard range. This superior model incorporates a robust 70 x 45mm wall framing to offer greater strength and rigidity – just what’s needed for a ‘workshop’ environment. This shiplap tongue and groove clad shed is superior to our overlap-clad models, due to the provision of the ‘jointed’ T&G to both the walls and roof – all to offer improved performance, stability and weather-proofing. Each piece of tongue and groove timber has a slot (the groove) cut all along one edge, and small outcrop (the tongue) on the opposite edge. Pieces fit snugly together to ensure a close fit, but some movement can still be accommodated. This apex-roof model is supplied complete with a 1.76m high x 1.46 wide double door, secured with a key-operated rim lock and 2 button catches. Key benefits include free dip-treatment, pressure treated floor joists and a 10 year manufacturers anti-rot guarantee. Specifications include 10mm T&G to the roof, 12mm Shiplap T&G to the walls upon the heavy 70 x 45mm framing, whereas the floor is formed from square-edge boarding upon a 45 x 28mm framing – all formed from European Softwood. Glazing is 1.5mm safety styrene to the fixed windows. Supplied pre-dipped in a primer coat of timber treatment at the factory, which needs to be refreshed after assembly and annually thereafter.
