The Pressure Treated Overlap Apex 86 Shed from our Shedstore Pressure Treated range. This basic shed, being 8′ x 6′ (approx), is historically the most popular size of UK garden shed. Ideal for multi-purpose garden storage, the Apex 86 allows you to store most garden tools, furniture or bicycles for example. This apex model is supplied complete with a 1.63m high x 0.66m wide single door, secured with a hasp & staple (padlock not supplied). Key benefits include pressure treated walls and floor joists, which enables the manufacturer to offer a 15 year anti-rot guarantee. Specifications include Stirling board (OSB, similar to chipboard) to the roof and floor, with 125 x 8mm cladding upon a 28 x 28mm framing to the walls – formed from European Softwood. Glazing is 1.5mm safety styrene, to the fixed windows. This pressure treated overlap shed is factory-made in a traditional way, by overlaying square cut timber boards and nailing them into place. This method of construction results in an economical garden building with a charming rustic appearance, that can be enhanced by imaginative use of coloured wood preserver. This basic shed being of an almost square footprint, offers many storage possibilities due to the incorporation of a wide double door to the front gable – to allow easy access. The 1.63m high x 1.10m wide double door is secured with a padbolt (padlock not supplied) and two turn buttons. Key benefits include pressure treated walls and floor joists, which enables the manufacturer to offer a 15 year anti-rot guarantee.
