This free-form wooden decking kit simply comprises joists and profiled deck boards which will allow you to create your own low-cost deck to a maximum area of 13.82 square metres; around 148 square feet. For example, a common deck size of 3.60m x 3.60m (12′x12′ approx) is within the coverage scope of this kit. Supplied in component form, this decking kit includes 19no. 2.40m long x 150 x 47mm sawn joists and 48no. 2.40m long x 120 x 28mm deck boards (having an area of 13.82m2). All Forest self-assembly decking kits are manufactured from pressure treated planed Softwood (having a green tint, not as image), which benefit from a manufacturer’s 15 year anti-rot guarantee! This product should be built upon a solid and flat area such as an existing patio, to enable sound deck support. No fixings are supplied, as the customer will need to cut/fix joists and boards to their desired layout and should therefore purchase their fixings locally to suit.
